Poorly Rated Stake Horses

The following horses were poorly rated by popular commercial Nick rating schemes in 2011.  The ratings shown here are compared to the Kris S. Bloodstock rating which examines the horse's mating for proven historical pedigree patterns.  The Kris S. rating scores the strength from a low of 1 to a high of 10.  A mating that is considered an average "mean population" mating is ranked a "5".  Matings ranking higher than 8 are marked by strong clusters of ancestors that are patterned in a historically effective way.

This is a working list begun in August 2011.  It is updated regularly.
